David L. Hagele
David L. Hagele is both the founder & chief executive officer of DLH Realty Capital.
Prior to founding DLH in 2004, Mr. Hagele served as vice president of a private real estate investment firm active in western U.S. markets, and president of the firm’s in-house financing, management and leasing company. In these positions, Mr. Hagele played a key role in the development, growth, leasing and management of over 3 million square feet of assets located in California, Nevada and Alaska, while establishing a tenant relations program focused on finding mutually acceptable terms for the tenant, owner and lender.
Mr. Hagele holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Pacific Union College and is a licensed real estate broker in California. He is or has been a member of several trade and civic organizations, including the Bay Area Mortgage Association, Belden Club (San Francisco chapter), Los Angeles Mortgage Association, Sonoma County Alliance, Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, Active 20/30 Club #50 (Past President, Spring 2008, Past Active Member) and has served as a commissioner on the Richmond Economic Development Commission and the Bonita Avenue Corridor Committee. In 2009, Mr. Hagele played a key role in saving Sonoma County’s Fourth of July Fireworks show, Red White & BOOM! from cancelation due to city and county budget cuts.
In 2010, Mr. Hagele became an Ironman at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii and while retired from racing, still enjoys swimming, biking and running in the wine country surrounding Healdsburg.
Mr. Hagele lives in Healdsburg with his wife and two children. He continues to be involved in economic development with various Bay Area communities on an informal basis as well as locally through various charitable organizations.
